Hot Tip of the Month- September 2007: “Women’s specific saddles”

It is the 21rst century, and they DO make lots of different products separately for men and women. Many of them seem to be little overdone. If you are a woman and you feel brutalized when you ride on a long nosed men’s saddle, there are options. Women’s specific saddles tend to have a shorter nose and proprietary padding in the critical areas. If you buy a Spinner and you want to change the saddle, the mechanism that’s holds the stock saddle to the seat slider can be removed and used on a replacement saddle. Go to your local bicycle shop and check out your options and remember that the angle you set the saddle at once it’s installed is a critical as the overall quality of the saddle itself.
